orbitrack is a realtime map of objects in Earth orbit. It is based on an original implementation by James Yoder and adds further features, currently in development: AI chat, short-term space projections and more.

A civil and a military display mode are planned. They filter what is shown, and every label carries its source and confidence level.

Orbital data comes from CelesTrak and is refreshed at each deployment. Positions are calculated in the browser using satellite.js.

Stuff in Space was created by James Yoder. The project is available on GitHub, and the fork that orbitrack builds on is maintained at GitHub.
